Man in critical condition after assault in Snodland

A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, after a serious assault in Snodland.

Emergency services were called to a disturbance in Amisse Drive last Tuesday afternoon.

Patrols attended alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service and the victim, a man in his 50s who is reported to have been punched, was airlifted to a London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Ryan Greaves, 31, of Thomson Close in Snodland, was arrested on Wednesday 2 July and has since been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 4 July and has been released on conditional bail pending a further hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 1 August.
