Man charged after knife attack in Romney Marsh
Police were called to Brenzett Green on Monday morning
A man's been charged in connection with a knife attack that left two men injured in Romney Marsh.
Kent Police were called to Brenzett Green on Monday morning. (17 November) following a dispute, which involved a small group of people that were known to each other, a man was reported to have been assaulted.
A Kent Police spokesperson said:
"Officers attended along with paramedics and two men were taken to hospital. One was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds and was later discharged. The other remains in hospital in a stable condition.
"Following enquiries, five men from the local area were arrested in connection with the incident."
Arry Burgess, 18, of Paddock View, Brenzett, has now been charged with malicious wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, possession of a knife in a public place and a public order offence.
A detainee remains in custody and three were bailed with conditions, while enquiries continue.
