Man assaulted in Fawkham by 6 people riding mopeds

It happened after he challenged them about anti-social behaviour

Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked in a Kent village by people on 3 mopeds.

It happened in Fawkham, near Sevenoaks.

Officers were called just after 6pm on 14 August to a report of an assault on Scratchers Lane, near to the junction with the A20 Main Road, Gorse Hill.

It is alleged six people riding three mopeds in an antisocial manner assaulted a driver when he exited his vehicle to challenge them about their behaviour.

The victim was struck numerous times during the attack and sustained bruising and small cuts to his face.

The suspects left the scene prior to officers’ arrival and an investigation was commenced to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
