A man has admitted making threats to kill while wielding a knife after a dramatic clip of armed police chasing him was released on social media.

Taylor Daly, 25, was charged with threats to kill along with attempted wounding and possession of two bladed articles.

Kent Police confirmed the force was called at 8.30pm on October 31 to a report of a disturbance at a property at Breeze Meadow in Faversham.

A video clip appeared to show the dramatic moment Daly was chased and detained by firearms officers on Halloween in the market town.

On Monday, Daly appeared via video link from HMP Elmley at Canterbury Crown Court to plead guilty to threatening to kill and the possession charges.

The prosecution have agreed to allow the attempted wounding charge, which he denies, to lie on his file.

The social media clip showed police chasing Daly through the street and shouting for him to stop.

At the end of the chase the man turns to officers and puts his hands in the air as they order him to get on the ground.

Daly, of no fixed address, will be sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court on January 23 2026.
