Police urge witnesses and dashcam footage from fatal crash

A teenage girl has died after being hit by multiple vehicles on the M20 near Aylesford in the early hours of Saturday.

Kent Police reported that the tragic incident occurred on the coastbound carriageway between junctions 4 and 5 at around 3.19am on 22nd August.

The girl, who was in the carriageway near a footbridge close to Teapot Lane, was struck by vehicles including a Ford Transit van and a Vauxhall Corsa.

Emergency services attended the scene, but the girl was pronounced dead.

Her next of kin have been informed.

Witnesses and dashcam footage requested

Authorities are asking for any witnesses who were in the area between 3.15am and 3.28am to come forward, especially if they noticed a pedestrian on the road.

Motorists with dashcam footage from this time period are urged to review their recordings for any information that may aid the investigation.
