Woman dead and another with life-threatening injuries after Sellindge crash

One woman's died and another's suffered life-threatening injuries after their car left the road and hit in tree in Sellindge.

The crash happened on the A20, Barrow Hill, around 8.40pm on Sunday, (5th July).

Reports indicate a yellow Mini Cooper collided with a tree near the junction of Meadow Grove.

The driver, a 44-year-old woman, was airlifted to a London hospital, where she remains in a life-threatening condition.

The passenger, a 46-year-old woman, was declared dead at the scene, and her next of kin has been informed.

Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit have asked witnesses who saw the crash or the events leading up to it to contact them.
