Woman suffers broken ankle after assault by man in Chatham
The man wasn't known to the victim
A woman's suffered a broken ankle after being assaulted by an unknown man in Chatham.
It's reported to have happened between 1.56am and 2.56am last Saturday (27th June), initially taking place on High Street and continuing onto Railway Street.
The victim also suffered bruising to her face.
The suspect is described as approximately 5 feet tall and was wearing dark-coloured clothing.
It is reported that another man helped the victim at the scene.
Appeal for Information
Officers are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident, including reviewing CCTV footage from both High Street and Railway Street.
They are urging anyone who may have witnessed the assault or possesses relevant information to get in touch.
