4-year-old knocked down by Range Rover in Gillingham
Police are appealing witnesses
A 4-year-old boy is in hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Gillingham.
The incident occurred on Nelson Road at approximately 4.12pm on Friday (3rd July 2026) when a black Range Rover collided with the boy.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the child was taken to a London hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries.
Police closed the road to conduct a thorough investigation.
Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are requesting witnesses to come forward.
They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have dashcam footage related to the accident.
