Thirteen arrests and cannabis grow uncovered in Worcestershire police operation
Operation Forefront targets key crimes across Worcester, Warndon and Kidderminster
A coordinated day of action named Operation Forefront across Worcestershire has resulted in 13 arrests, the discovery of a large cannabis grow, and the seizure of e-bikes and e-scooters.
On 14th October 2026, multiple warrants were executed in Worcester, Warndon, and Kidderminster focused on drug supply and animal welfare concerns. The operation involved a range of teams including Safer Neighbourhood Teams, CID, and Task Force, aiming to tackle priority crimes and high-risk offenders.
Significant outcomes from the day include charges against two men after a cannabis grow was found in Kidderminster and three men arrested on suspicion of Class A drug supply following a warrant in Worcester.
Various arrests were made in connection with robbery, public order offences, assault and domestic violence order breaches. Plain clothed patrols in Redditch disturbed car break-ins, identifying suspects through body-worn video footage.
In addition to the arrests, seven e-bikes and e-scooters were seized in Worcester, highlighting efforts to curb their illegal use. Two vehicles were also seized for documentation offences.
Superintendent Helen Wain praised the operation’s success, stating: "Criminality of any kind will not be tolerated by West Mercia Police. The success of this intensive day of action sends a clear message to potential offenders."
The operation underscores the daily work police carry out to address those causing significant harm within communities.
