An appeal for witnesses has been launched after two children were hurt in a crash on a pedestrian crossing in Worcester.

It happened on Bromyard Road, at the junction with Tudor Way, at around 8:50am on Friday 9th October, according to West Mercia Police.

Police say two children and their parent were waiting at the crossing when a silver Vauxhall Zafira crashed into the children.

They suffered very minor injuries and were taken to hospital as a precaution.
