Witnesses sought after serious collision in Redditch

Officers are appealing for witnesses, after a serious collision on Ipsley Street, in Redditch.

It happened shortly before 8am on Friday (4 September) and involved a Honda Jazz car and a cyclist.

The cyclist, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and was been taken to hospital.

The driver of the car, a man aged 41, has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released on bail. He was uninjured during the collision.

Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage, to please get in touch.
