Three men charged in Watford drug supply operation
Over 45 kilos of Spice seized in Hertfordshire police crackdown
Three men have been charged with drug offences following a Hertfordshire Constabulary operation targeting drug supply and related criminal activity in Watford.
The Serious and Organised Crime Investigations Unit executed three drugs warrants in London on Thursday, 2nd July, uncovering substantial amounts of Spice, a synthetic cannabinoid.
The January 2026 investigation led to the discovery of over 45 kilos of Spice at an address on St Albans Road, Watford, along with drug production equipment.
The operation, involving the Operational Support Group and Eastern Region Special Operations Unit, resulted in the arrest of three men.
Officers seized an additional three and a half kilos of Spice, over £2,000 in cash, high-value goods, a £48,000 BMW, and four mobile phones.
Charged with production of Class B drugs are:
- Dario De-luca Sesay, aged 24, of Lynbrook Grove, Southeast London
- Ibrahim Hassan, aged 38, of Halewood Way, Rainham
- Noroin Hassan, aged 39, of Manor Park, Greater London
All suspects were released on bail as the investigation progresses.
Detective Sergeant Chris Cowell acknowledged the community's role in providing intelligence that led to the operation, which disrupted a significant drug production network.
