Three in custody after stabbing in Worcester

West Mercia Police have confirmed three people in their 20s have been arrested after a woman was stabbed in Worcester on Monday evening (30/3).

In a statement, they said: "Officers were deployed to Cranham Drive in Warndon around 5.45pm following reports of disorder.

"When officers arrived, a woman had already been taken to the hospital with stab wounds.

"She has since been discharged from the hospital.

"A 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of assault, possession with intent to supply a class A drug and possession of an offensive weapon.

"Another 28-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance with intent to supply and assisting an offender.

"All three remain in police custody."
