Teenager hands themselves in over hoax bomb threat at Hereford Leisure Centre

A teenager has been identified after a hoax bomb threat was made to Hereford Leisure Centre last night.

The venue had to evacuate whilst officers carried out searches.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said the teen attended the police station today.

A statement continues saying "the teenager is assisting officers with their enquiries into the incident and will be voluntarily interviewed."

Officers believe there is no further risk to the public.
