Police Dog Fende has been commended after assisting officers during a disturbance on Union Street in Hereford in the early hours of Saturday morning (7/3).
While officers were arresting a suspect for an assault, they were confronted by a group of aggressive males attempting to interfere.
Facing increasing hostility, the officers deployed PD Fende to help manage the situation.
On command, the police dog quickly took control, barking to create space and disperse the group safely.
PD Fende's presence allowed officers to complete the arrest without further escalation.
Additional officers soon arrived and several individuals were subsequently arrested for public order offences.
