Man taken to hospital after medical emergency in Worcester

Emergency services responded to a medical emergency on Wyld's Lane in Worcester at 8.50pm on 1st September.

The response included three ambulances, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor, and a critical care paramedic.

Additionally, the Midlands Air Ambulance critical care car was dispatched to the location.

Upon arrival, a man was found in critical condition prompting the crews to administer advanced life support.

He was then transported to hospital under emergency driving conditions.

In a statement, a spokesperson from WMAS told us: "We were called to an incident at an address on Wyld's Lane in Worcester at 8.50pm on Tuesday 1st September and sent three ambulances, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic and the Midlands Air Ambulance critical care car to the scene.

"On arrival, a man was found in a critical condition, crews immediately began administering advanced life support, before he was conveyed to hospital under emergency driving conditions."
