A 55-year-old man has admitted to the murder of a woman in Bromyard last year (2025)

Julian Thomas, of no fixed address, entered a guilty plea at Worcester Crown Court today (16th April).

Anne Marie Green, who was 61, was found dead after emergency services were called to Apple Tree Close on September 27th last year (2025).

Thomas also admitted assaulting Ms Green on July 10th of the same year.

Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Lougher from the Major Investigation Unit said:

“This was a tragic and deeply distressing incident, and our thoughts remain with Ann Marie’s family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.

“While no outcome can ever undo their loss, we hope today’s guilty plea provides them with some measure of justice and spares them the additional pain of a trial.”

Thomas is due to appear at Worcester Crown Court for sentencing on May 15th.
