Man charged and murder investigation continues after Worcester incidents
Police continue investigations into arson and garage death
A 34-year-old man has been charged with arson being reckless as to whether life was endangered, after incidents that occurred at Unity Community Hub and Spring Lane in Worcester on 26th February 2026.
He also faces charges of assault with intent to rob and two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
David Jones, who has no fixed address in the city, has been remanded in custody and is slated to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday 2nd March.
Additionally, another 34-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in a garage on Surman Street, Worcester, has been released under investigation.
The murder investigation is ongoing.
