Kidderminster shoplifter jailed for breaching Criminal Behaviour Order
Samantha James faces six months in prison
A Kidderminster woman has been sentenced to six months in prison for stealing from local stores while breaching her Criminal Behaviour Order.
Samantha James, 39, from East Street in Kidderminster, was convicted on three counts of breaching her Criminal Behaviour Order and two counts of shop theft.
The verdict was delivered at Worcester Magistrates Court on 13th August.
James was sentenced to six months in prison for each breach of her order, running concurrently.
Additionally, she was ordered to pay £119.30 in compensation for the shop thefts.

Police Constable Richard Clayton from Kidderminster Safer Neighbourhood Team commented on the sentencing.
“We are pleased that James has received a custodial sentence after continuing to offend despite being subject to a Criminal Behaviour Order for previous shoplifting offences."
