Firefighters contain barn blaze in Lawford Heath
Crews work overnight to bring fire under control
A barn on Coalpit Lane in Lawford Heath caught fire on Monday 17th August at approximately 4.45pm, prompting a swift response from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service.
As crews arrived, they found the barn, filled with straw, already ablaze, with the fire beginning to spread to a nearby field.
The firefighters worked through the night to control and extinguish the flames.
As of 8.00am on 18th August, crews were still on the scene, but the fire was mostly under control.
Multiple teams attended, aiming to prevent the fire from spreading further and to protect the surrounding land and property.
