In a fundraiser created in Letti's memory, the girl’s family say they were left devastated by the loss of their 'most precious angel' and are seeking to honour her with a memorial.
The family wrote: "I am devastated to be writing this. On Wednesday evening, we lost our most precious angel in the most tragic circumstances. Our family is completely heartbroken, devastated, and still in shock.
"No family should ever have to go through such an unimaginable loss."
The Badsey community has been praised by the family for showing 'kindness, compassion, and support', which has served as a comfort during such a difficult time.
"I want to thank every single person who gave up their time and made every effort to help look for our beautiful Letti. Your love and support will never be forgotten," the family said.
A GoFundMe page has been set up by residents to assist the family in creating a memorial for Letti.
"Please don't feel under any obligation to donate. Your love, prayers, and support have already meant the world to our family," they said.
For those wishing to contribute, any donation will be appreciated to create a special place in Letti's memory.
"The family concluded their message with heartfelt thanks, "Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. God bless you all."
