Police seek witnesses to help investigation

Police are seeking witnesses after a cyclist was injured in a collision on Belmont Road (A465) in Hereford.

The incident occurred at approximately 7.40am on Thursday 4th June near McDonald's, involving a Volkswagon Caddy van and a cyclist.

The cyclist, a man in his 60s, suffered fractures to his arm as a result of the collision.

Both the van and the cyclist were travelling towards Hereford City Centre and were in a queue of traffic at the time.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who may possess dashcam footage that could aid the investigation is encouraged to get in touch with the force.
