A woman in her 80s has died after a collision in the Cotswolds earlier this week.

Emergency services were called to a report of a collision involving a Mercedes and a Kia in Temple Guiting, at the junction to Cotswold Farm Park at around 5:35pm on Sunday (May 24).

Gloucestershire Police said the female passenger of the Kia, who was in her 80s and from the Cotswolds, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital after complaining of chest pains.

She died in hospital yesterday (May 27).

Police say her family have been informed and are being supported by a specially trained officer.

The road was closed while a collision investigation took place and has since reopened.

Investigating officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
