Man seriously assaulted in Gloucester
The victim sustained a serious head injury
A man has suffered a serious head injury after an assault in Gloucester.
Emergency services were called to Stroud Road in Gloucester at around 2am this morning (12 June).
The victim, a man in his 50s, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
Investigating officers are currently conducting enquiries in the area and they would now like to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or has CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage which they feel may be relevant.
