E-scooter rider injured in Cheltenham collision

Police officers are looking for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious crash in Cheltenham left an e-scooter rider injured last night (24 January).
The collision took place around 11pm on St Paul's Road near the junction for Folly Lane and involved a white vehicle and a man on an e-scooter.
The rider sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital by paramedics.
The driver failed to stop at the scene, and police are urging them to come forward.
According to police, the white vehicle may have visible front-end damage from the collision.
Officers are appealing to anyone who saw a vehicle matching this description or who witnessed the collision to come forward.
They are also seeking dashcam footage from those who were in the area around the mentioned time.
Road closures remain in place while officers continue to investigate.
