M5 northbound closed near Tewkesbury after serious collision
The closure is in place northbound between junction 11 and 9
A section of the M5 near Tewkesbury is closed after a serious collision.
Police were called at around 12.20pm this afternoon (6 May) to a report of a two vehicle collision near to junction 9 for Tewkesbury.
A closure has been put in place on the northbound carriageway between junctions 11 and 9.
Police say the closure is expected to remain in place for a number of hours and drivers are being asked avoid the area.
