Gloucestershire to shine at Three Counties Show 2026
The event takes place this weekend
Gloucestershire is set to shine at this year's Royal Three Counties Show, unfolding from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th June at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern.
Visitors are invited into a comprehensive Gloucestershire experience, highlighting the county's food, creativity, heritage, and innovation.
The Gloucestershire County Council's stand promises diverse engagements, from tasting local food and beverages, supported by Made in Gloucestershire, to crafting activities that reflect local tradition and nature.
Families can participate in a unique event from Cotswold Farm Park, featuring a competition guessing the wool of a rare breed sheep, with farm park tickets as prizes.
The show will also host unique audio elements from Gloucestershire Libraries to immerse visitors in the county’s stories.
A virtual reality experience will allow attendees to explore Gloucestershire’s landscapes, accompanied by live demonstrations from local producers and craftspeople, creating a sensory immersion into the county’s offerings.
The stand will promote sustainable travel ideas such as cycling and e-scooters while the Careers Hub will provide insights into local education and employment prospects. Visitors can explore inspirations for future local excursions and breaks, supported by the CotswoldPlus Local Visitor Economy Partnership.
Cllr Julian Tooke, the cabinet member for business, economic development, planning, and infrastructure, emphasised the importance of the rural economy to Gloucestershire’s identity and prosperity.
"The Royal Three Counties Show allows us to celebrate the contributions of those living and working in our countryside, showcasing the best of Gloucestershire from local produce and creative talent to opportunities for residents and businesses," Tooke said.
