Hartpury House to feature The Greatest Showman in support of disabled youth
Hartpury House in Gloucestershire is set to host an outdoor cinema event as part of the Riding for the Disabled Association’s (RDA) 'Summer of Inclusion' campaign, dedicated to supporting disabled children and young people.
Taking place during the RDA National Championships, the event will screen the hit film The Greatest Showman on Friday, 10th July 2026, in a bid to raise funds and awareness for inclusive activities provided by RDA.
The fundraiser aims to counter the isolation many disabled children face during summer months, promoting accessible and enriching experiences through therapeutic, equine-based programs.
Lisa Davies from RDA spoke to us about what it means to create these inclusive opportunities:
" We believe every child deserves that opportunity to be active, have fun, make friends, but for a lot of disabled children those opportunities aren't always equal."
Vicki Rowles, Director of Fundraising at RDA UK, highlighted the campaign's goal to ensure no child is left behind, emphasizing the positive impact of donor and volunteer support in creating opportunities for disabled children.
Those attending the cinema event will enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with options for blankets and chairs, a dress theme of "Ringmaster chic," and a range of ticket types, complete with subtitles.
Hartpury House's scenic grounds offer the perfect setting for community engagement and fundraising, helping RDA expand its services to reach more disabled children across the UK.
