Gaelic Warrior became the big winner of this years Cheltenham Festival, claiming the Gold Cup title this afternoon !

The 11-4 joint-favourite came in well ahead of Jango Baie.

The horse is ridden by Paul Townend - who's now the most successful jockey in the race's history, having won it five times.

Trainer Willie Mullins tells us what it was like watching from the stands: "I just stood there, perplexed. You know, I jumped the third lap, jumped the second lap. Jumped the last and then that is a long run in... I didn't cheer until 50 yards to go and then I said, you know, 'we've done it'."

However, the race had a sad ending though - the horse Envoi Allen died after collapsing on the walk back to the stables.
