A civil injunction has been granted against Marika Badzova, known for repeated anti-social behaviour, shoplifting, intimidation, and abuse in Gloucestershire.
This court order, issued by Gloucester and Cheltenham County Court, prohibits Badzova from entering any businesses participating in the City Safe scheme.
Badzova's record includes shop theft, aggressive behaviour, threats of violence, racial abuse, and assaults.
Reports indicate these actions have left business staff feeling threatened and some even reluctant to report incidents due to fear of further abuse.
Morag Gordon from Gloucester City Council stated that while support is encouraged for complex lifestyles, enforcement actions are taken when behaviour negatively impacts the community.
Inspector James O'Neill from the Gloucester Neighbourhood Policing Team emphasised that these actions are not victimless, showing ongoing efforts to safeguard communities.
The City Safe partnership includes various agencies to address anti-social behaviour and ensure safety in town and city centres.
Gloucestershire Constabulary encourages reporting of any infringements on the injunction.
