Two men have been taken to hospital after an attempted murder in Stirling on Saturday evening.

Police were called to a unit in the Burghmuir Retail Park off Burghmuir Road at around 7.15pm on 9 May.

The men were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with stab wounds, which emergency services have described as serious, but are not thought to be life threatening.

Police appeal

Detective Chief Inspector Scott Roxburgh said: “Our inquiries to establish what happened are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have information which may help to get in touch.

“As well as the location at the retail park, we are also carrying out inquiries at nearby Colquhoun Street.

“I would ask anyone who have witnessed any disturbance in these areas on Saturday evening, or who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage, to get in touch.”
