Dozens of arrests in Glasgow city centre in four month drugs bust
Operation Carex has been running since November.
Fifty arrests took place during a four month blitz on drug dealing in Glasgow.
Police say they raided 21 properties between the middle of November and the start of February.
117 people were reported to the Procurator Fiscal or given Fixed Penalty Notices in connection with drugs offences.
Detective Inspector Tam Carey said: "This proportionate and targeted action aims to disrupt those involved in drug dealing within Glasgow city centre and address the wider criminal behaviour impacting on the area.
"We work closely with partners, including Glasgow City Council, local businesses and support services, to help ensure this remains a safe place for those who visit, live and work here.
"This sustained approach, alongside a range of wider interventions, is having a positive impact in helping to reduce harm within our communities and makes clear that such criminal activity will not be tolerated."
Drugs with an estimated value of over £110,000 have been recovered as part of this initiative as well as a further £39,000 in cash.
During this time, police also focused on focused activity in and around Union Street, targeting drug dealing while also addressing anti-social behaviour.
Officers say they uncovered 93 crimes and made 35 arrests, including 23 arrests in connection with drugs offences.
Quantities of cocaine, cannabis and suspected etizolam were also seized over the course of the month.
Tam added: ""Action like this is only possible through the continued support of the public. Anyone with information or concerns about drug activity is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, or make a call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
