Two men charged with conspiracy to burgle and steal cars in West Essex

Pair accused of offences spanning several months

Two men have appeared at court, charged with conspiring to burgle and steal vehicles, in West Essex.

Kingsley Davies, 22, from Tudor Crescent, Ilford and Antonio Da Silva, 24, from Chelston Court, Grosvenor Road, East London, were arrested on 27th November. They were remanded into custody and appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on 29th November.

Both men are facing charges of conspiracy to steal vehicles, conspiracy to commit burglary, and possession of cannabis. Antonio Da Silva faces an additional charge of committing a burglary.

The offences are reported to have occurred between August and November 2025 and are the result of an investigation by the West Local Policing Area CID Acquisitive Crime Team.

Davies and Da Silva remain in custody and are set to appear at Basildon Combined Court on 5th January 2026.
