Three arrested after fight involving weapons on Grays High Street

Police are calling for footage following the violent street fight

Police are appealing for information after a fight involving a group of people broke out on High Street in Grays.

The incident occurred shortly after 10.30am this morning {Friday, 13th March)

Witnesses reported that several items, including a glass bottle and a guitar, were used as weapons.

Thurrock officers quickly attended the scene and found an injured man with a head injury.

He was promptly taken to hospital for treatment.

Three individuals were arrested nearby in connection with the fight.

Chief Inspector Daniel Barnes stated, "This was a violent incident that has understandably caused concern within the community."

He expressed gratitude to those who reported the matter and commended officers for their swift actions in arresting those involved.

Police continue to secure the area and conduct enquiries, encouraging witnesses to come forward.

Authorities are aware that parts of the incident were filmed, urging those who captured footage to submit it to the police instead of sharing it online.
