Man dies after being rescued from sea in Frinton
Emergency services ask public to keep clear of The Esplanade
Emergency services are actively responding in Frinton following the death of a man who encountered difficulties in the sea.
The incident unfolded shortly before 2.10pm this afternoon, when Essex Police were alerted by ambulance service colleagues about a man struggling in the water off The Esplanade.
Despite rescue efforts, the man was sadly pronounced deceased upon being brought ashore.
Essex Police have informed the man’s family and are providing them with support during this difficult time.
Personnel from the emergency services remain on site and requests have been made to the public to avoid the area while operations continue.
