A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a series of fires in Harlow.

Sheds, a garage, and a parked vehicle have been targeted in the last few weeks.

The man, who's from Harlow, has been released on bail while Essex Police continue their enquiries.

Officers ask anyone with information to contact them via 101.

Chief Inspector Emily Holmes, from Essex Police, said:

“We’re working closely with Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, the local council and other partners to build a clear picture of what’s happening and to reduce the risk of further fires.

“Where criminal offences are identified, we will pursue them robustly and take action against those responsible.”
