A former school teacher has appeared in court after being charged with multiple historic sexual offences involving boys under the age of sixteen
Paul Stainsby, 75, was a teacher at Warwick School in the 1980s, when the offences are alleged to have taken place.
In December last year (2025) Stainsby, formally of Dunmow in Essex, was charged with nine counts of indecent assault and one count of gross indecency with a boy under sixteen years of age.
The charges relate to five different boys.
He appeared before magistrates in Leamington on Friday 23 January and is due to appear at Warwick Crown Court on February 20 for a plea hearing.
