Two children hit by car in Grays

A witness appeal has been launched after two children were hit by a car in Grays.

Essex Police say the collision happened on London Road, near Orsett Road and High Street, around 3.50pm on Tuesday (28 April).

A car collided with two pedestrians, a 10-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, who were cared for by ambulance staff.

The driver stayed at the scene, and investigations are ongoing.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage from the area.
