With the amazing line-up announced earlier this year, fans of The Traitors have been gearing up for the second series of the celebrity edition, as Claudia Winkleman welcomes more famous names to Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands.

Well, following the release of the trailer at the end of August, broadcaster Richard Osman has now appeared to let slip the start for The Celebrity Traitors.

When does The Celebrity Traitors start?

Speaking to series one contestant Joe Marler during a live recording of The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, Richard revealed the series will begin on Wednesday 23rd September!

Just before filming took place, the full line-up was announced, including 21 famous names.

As well as the second celeb series, fans will be pleased to know that there's plenty more to come.

Bosses confirmed earlier this year both The Traitors and The Celebrity Traitors will run until at least 2030, with one series of each show every year!
