Silo: What happened in season three, episode four - 'Whatever You Do, Don’t Go Home'?

Silo season three is continuing its weekly release of episodes, and so far we've had a chance to find out more about the Before Times, giving us an little insight into why the Silo exists.

Back in the Silo, Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) is beginning to get her memory back and she finally finds Lukas Kyle (Avi Nash) after many people think he died some time ago. Below is your full recap of season three, episode four 'Whatever You Do, Don’t Go Home'.

Episode four - 'Whatever You Do, Don’t Go Home'

After the mines were fumigated, Juliette is taken to the medical area of the Silo, where she’s tied to a bed and kept under guard. However, her nurse, who has also been looking after her in her apartment since she returned, injects her guard causing her to pass out, after a fight, allowing Juliette and her nurse to escape.

Back in the Before Times, Helen (Jessica Henwick) and Daniel (Ashley Zukerman) arrive back at the hacker’s place to find that he has ‘disappeared’ along with the recording they listened to earlier. Worried that their phones could be bugged, they decide to go separate ways temporarily, with Helen scribbling an address on Daniel’s hand, telling him not to show up before 10.

Sheriff Billings (Chinaza Uche) and Deputy Molly Karins (Angela Yeoh) visit Orla's body in the morgue and find out that she wasn’t killed in the mines, leading them to believe she was murdered elsewhere and her body hidden, hoping no one would find her. As the medical examiner explained: “She was struck in the back of the head, hard.”

Patrick and Sandy meet up with Lukas Kyle, where they question him about the video they’ve seen of the outside – where it looks like paradise, but he tells them it’s all a lie and it looks like the wasteland they've seen from the cafeteria.

Shirley sneaks into the medical facility after Knox causes a diversion, hoping to find Juliette but she’s unable to find her. However, she does overhear Robert and Camille Sims discussing Juliette, with Robert saying: “I’ll take care of her myself.”

Meanwhile, Juliette and her nurse escape through a hatch, and the nurse gives herself up, telling Juliette to make her way to the pump room on Level 76. She finally reaches the pump room, but finds herself confronted by Robert Sims, before Shirley appears and agrees to help her.

Helen and Daniel end up at Helen’s ex’s place to formulate a plan. There, Daniel tells Helen they have a meeting at the Pentagon. The pair meet up with Sam, who Daniel served with, as well as joining band together. Daniel and Helen explain that they want to find out the chess opponent their source was playing against, so they can track down the recording.

When Sam asks Daniel what he heard on the comms recording he explains: "Airplanes, no longer controlled by their pilots." However, the conversation ends frosty as Sam doesn’t like that he’s been asked for this information by his friend.

Daniel and Helen are then approached by a man both have seen on separate occasions. The man, who doesn’t identify himself, then tells the pair they are “endangering something very important”, going on to bribe Helen with her ideal job at The Times. He then threatens to withdraw care for Charlotte.

Later that night, Daniel is still at work and gets a call from his friend Sam, who says he went down a full-blown rabbit hole. Daniel decides to visit Helen, and tell her Sam called him. Jumping in a rental car, the pair drive off into the night.

Meanwhile, in the Silo Juliette goes into the tunnels, with Shirley’s help. She ends up in the Digger Void, where George’s camp is and comes across Bernard, who has been hiding there since he ‘died’ from the airlock fire.

Season three, episode five will arrive on Friday 31st July 2026.
