Trailer drops for second half of Rivals season two

Smash-hit series Rivals will return to our screens in November, bringing with it a fresh dose of festive nostalgia as the residents of Rutshire prepare for Christmas.

And now we've been given a good glimpse at the action about to unfold, with an exciting new trailer dropping on Tuesday 29th September.

After the first half of season two's episodes were released in the spring, fans have faced an agonising wait to find out how Lord Tony Baddingham (David Tennant) deals with the shock death of his wife, Monica (Claire Rushbrook).

Things continue to heat up in other parts of the village too, with Freddie Jones (Danny Dyer) and Lizzie Vereker's (Katherine Parkinson) affair reaching make or break, Sarah Stratton's (Emily Atack) pregnancy now the talk of the town, and Taggie (Bella Maclean) and Rupert's (Alex Hassell) relationship failing to launch, despite growing tension between the pair.

Well the trailer gives us an idea of how those story lines progress — and it looks like Tony is not taking the news well. Check it out below...
