Following the success of the first series, which aired back in April this year, Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo's reality series Raising Chelsea has officially been renewed for a second instalment.

The married couple will once again allow cameras into their lives as they continue to navigate parenthood, after welcoming their son Ziggy into the world.

Disney+ say of the second series: 'Fans can expect to see how the couple are adapting to family life; returning to work, celebrating occasions, and new family adventures that take them outside Chelsea. The returning series will host brand new faces, together with the return of the couple’s mums Penny Baines and Sarah Wigley, plus Sophie’s sister Georgia Habboo, and Jamie’s best-friend, Oliver Proudlock'.

Speaking on the renewal of the series, Jamie and Sophie said: “We were blown away by the response to the show and are so excited to keep sharing our journey. The experience of working with Disney+ and Dorothy Street Pictures for season one made it easy for us to say yes. We’ve always documented our lives over the years and continuing to do this on a bigger scale is just amazing. We hope that fans and viewers carry on enjoying our honesty as we continue to navigate raising Ziggy, together with balancing our family and professional lives. We can’t wait to bring you in more.”

Raising Chelsea series two filming

When does it come out?

There's no word on a release date just yet, but filming has started!

Sean Doyle, VP, Unscripted, Disney+ EMEA, said: “We loved Jamie and Sophie’s pregnancy story in season one and meeting baby Ziggy, and we can’t wait to follow their family in season two.”

Julia Nottingham, Executive Producer and Founder Dorothy Street Pictures, continued: “We were so thrilled by the audience's response to season one. Now, as Jamie and Sophie step into their next chapter as parents, we’re delighted to be back alongside them for an access-all-areas look at their lives as they embrace the joy, chaos and unexpected realities of becoming a family. Jamie and Sophie have a rare ability to be completely open, funny and honest, inviting audiences into both the big milestones and the intimate, unfiltered moments in between. We can’t wait for viewers to join them for what promises to be their biggest adventure yet.”
