Courteney Cox's Cougar Town to be added to ITVX

As part of a new initiative between The Walt Disney Company and ITV, it's been announced that Cougar Town will be added to ITVX. The popular 00s show starring Courteney Cox is from the creator behind other hits shows such as Scrubs and Ted Lasso.
Over the coming months shows such as Cougar Town, The Patient and Lie To Me Series 1, will be added to free streaming service ITVX, in the arrangement which will also see several ITV programmes added to Disney+.
What is Cougar Town?
Cougar Town originally aired between 2009 and 2015, starring Friends and Scream star Courteney Cox as Jules Cobb. Jules is an estate agent and a recent divorcee, who spent most of her 20s and 30s looking after her son.
Now that he's a teenager and she's newly single, she's keen to make the most of her new life, spending time with her wine-loving friends, and younger workmate Laurie Keller (Busy Philipps), who is keen to show her a good time.

Along with Courteney Cox (Jules Cobb), the show also starred several other cast members:

Who created the show?
Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel created Cougar Town. Bill has also created huge shows such as Scrubs, Spin City and Ted Lasso, while Kevin also worked on Scrubs alongside Bill.
What is the Cougar Town Easter egg in Roster?
Bill Lawrence's latest show Rooster, which will be available on HBO MAX UK shortly, has a Cougar Town Easter egg. The TV producer and director explained in an interview with TVLine.com, how fans might notice a nod to the popular show.
In Rooster, Greg Russo (Steve Carell) who is a middle-aged author, is spending one last night alone in his apartment in Florida. As he is watching a hockey game, he picks up a coin and throws it into a nearby jar of pennies, something that viewers saw frequently in Cougar Town.
How to watch it
You will be able to watch the first season of Cougar Town from 8th April on ITVX. All six seasons of the show are available to watch on Disney+.
