Following a revived special in 2024 and a full series last year, rumours are rife popular gameshow Bullseye will return for a second full series later this year.

The show, which is hosted by former cricketer and TV presenter Freddie Flintoff, will return for a second series and another celebrity special, according to The Sun.

A TV source told the publication: "The continued popularity of Bullseye means that as well as the new outing featuring members of the public playing the game, bosses are also looking at a celebrity version.

"The most recent experiment, a Bullseye for Soccer Aid special, seemed to go down well with viewers so they’re looking at expanding that – possibly with a full series."

Although ITV/STV are yet to officially announce anything, it's being reported that filming for the second series will begin this autumn, with the show expected to hit our screens later in 2026.

ITV/STV bosses first rebooted the darts-themed gameshow for a one-off special at Christmas in 2024. Following the original format, with the playing teams made up of an amateur dart player, known as the ‘thrower’, and their team partner, the ‘knower’, the special achieved audiences of over 8.6 million, leading the broadcaster to commission the show for a full 4x60 minute series.

Airing in November 2025, the series was hosted by Freddie and featured teen darts sensation Luke Littler.
