Lewis Capaldi: Take a look through pics from his two sold-out Hyde Park gigs
He was joined by some special guests
On 11th and 12th July 2026, Lewis Capaldi wowed 130,000 fans, who had gathered to see him perform at two sold-out gigs as part of American Express presents BST Hyde Park.
Lewis took to the stage for 90 minutes each night, and delighted fans with a set full of songs such as 'Hold Me While You Wait', 'Forget Me' and 'Bruises'.
On the Saturday night, as the sun set, Lewis then welcomed his special guest on stage, introducing him by saying: "On March 31st, I released my first single which was called 'Bruises' and there was another man who also released his first single on March 31st 2017, and that man has since gone on to do some incredible incredible things – like recently becoming the longest running British Number 1.
"He’s played stadiums all over the world but mostly, becoming a dear, dear, dear friend of mine. You know him, you love him, please welcome… the f---ing incredible Sam Fender, ladies and gentleman."
The pair sang Sam and Olivia Dean's BRIT Award-winning song 'Rein Me In', much to the crowd's delight.
At the end of his set, the singer then hinted at a break to concentrate on new music, saying: "After this, I’m going to go away for a while and I’ll make a new album for everybody. My name’s Lewis Capaldi and I’ll see you very soon."

However, that wasn't before he returned to the stage the following night, to entertain another 65,000 fans. Sunday night's special guest was The Kooks’ Luke Pritchard, with the pair performing the band's 'Naive'.
Telling the audience about his special guest, Lewis said: "I thought, I’d like to get someone on who has meant a lot to me over the last 20 odd years or whatever. I saw a video from Reading in 2006 of this particular band, and the video of them playing this particular song, and I remember watching it and thinking that’s what I want to do when I’m older… and it really had a profound effect on me. And I still put it on at house parties… and after nights out…
"At this point of my life, really, for my money, it’s one of the best songs ever written… and one of my favourite songs ever written. So, I asked this gentleman to come tonight. Please welcome Mr Luke Pritchard from the Kooks, everybody."
