The reality star said she feels 'protective' of her newborn

The Hills star Audrina Patridge has shared the first photo of her newborn daughter, eight weeks after welcoming her into the world.

The 31-year-old finally gave fans what they wanted when she filled her latest blog with pictures of baby Kirra.

She wrote “Alright… It’s time! Everyone is asking to** **see baby Kirra, and I can’t hold back any longer! We are so beyond in love with her!! I never imagined I could love someone with all that I have, but my love for her grows each and every day. And since everyone has been so patient, I wanted to share a couple of pictures with you all"

The reality star went on to add to her post, thanking fans for their ‘patience’ and revealed both herself and fiancé Corey Bohen are still ‘a little overprotective’ of their little one but wanted to share the cute snaps with fans.

Audrina and Corey welcomed baby Kirra into the world last month, announcing she weighed 8lbs. Her representative broke the news to People magazine saying “She's perfectly healthy and Mom is doing great".

Kirra is the couple’s first child, with the pair announcing their engagement last year in a sweet Instagram post.

The couple first met way back on an episode of popular MTV show, The Hills and despite enduring an on/off relationship since 2008, they now seem happier than ever with the addition of their new arrival.
