Family ‘extremely concerned’ for Dunblane woman missing in Morocco
The family of a Scottish woman who is missing in Morocco say they are “extremely concerned” for her welfare, after she was last seen on Saturday.
Travel influencer Rachel Kerr had been staying in the resort city of Agadir on the country’s Atlantic coast.
She has not been heard from since she checked out of her hotel on Saturday April 25.
Ms Kerr is 31 and is from Dunblane, near Stirling.
On her Instagram, where she has more than 9,000 followers, she had recently been posting about her time in Morocco.
Ms Kerr’s cousin, Claire Hill, shared an appeal on social media, asking anyone who has had contact with her to share information.
She said: “Appealing to anyone who may have had contact with Rachel Kerr in the last few days, and any of her contacts in Morocco.
“Please get in touch if you have any information. Her family are extremely concerned for her welfare.
“Last known to be staying in the Caribbean Village Agadir, checked out on Saturday and we’ve not been able to contact her since then.”
A spokesman for the Foreign Office said: “We are supporting the family of a British woman who is missing in Morocco.”
