Two men arrested after vehicle and fuel theft in Hull
It happened in the early hours of yesterday
Two men are in custody, after officers received reports of a stolen motor vehicle from a property on Nordale Close in Hull at around 3.45am yesterday morning (Sunday, 3 August).
Upon receiving further reports of a fuel theft believed to be linked to the stolen vehicle, the kinetic roads team spotted the car travelling down Grasby Road in Hull and requested the driver to stop.
The driver and passenger allegedly attempted to evade officers, eventually bringing the vehicle to a stop on Saxby Road, Hull. Subsequently, it is believed both men fled on foot but were swiftly located by officers. Two males were arrested at the scene.
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, theft of a motor vehicle, making off without payment, driving whilst unfit through drugs and failing to stop.

Both remain in police custody, while enquiries are ongoing.
