Two arrested after police find firearms and suspected drugs in Scunthorpe
Police seize weapon, money, and suspected Class A drugs during Bideford Court raid
Two people have been arrested after police discovered a firearm and suspected Class A drugs at a residence in Scunthorpe.
Officers responded to reports of criminal activity at a property on Bideford Court at around 5pm on Monday, 13 October 2025. Upon arrival, a search was carried out which led to the seizure of a firearm, a quantity of cash, and what are believed to be suspected Class A drugs.
An 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a Class A drug, common assault of an emergency worker, and possession of a firearm. A 47-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug. Both individuals remain in custody as police enquiries continue.
Authorities are appealing to the public for information relating to drugs or other criminal activity in the area.
