Patrol officers dismantle cannabis operation in Scunthorpe

Patrol officers in Scunthorpe have dismantled a cannabis operation following reports of a suspected grow inside a property on Long Road.

The incident unfolded at around 11:45am on Thursday, 26th March, when officers responded to a third-party notification concerning illegal activity.

Upon searching the premises, officers discovered approximately 90 to 100 cannabis plants, which have now been removed.

Investigations are ongoing to identify those responsible for cultivating the plants.

Authorities are urging members of the public with knowledge about drug-related offences to speak to officers or contact them using the non-emergency number 101.
